Checked out the Mill Street tasting night at Salt tonight (thought I would throw in a beer night for the BF since he is constantly dragged out to wine events).
The night was capped off with their Coffee Porter paired with a chocolate terrine - amazing.
The one surprise was that they skimmed their tasting plates down to two cheeses and two meats rather than 3 & 2. With the new even matches we found that we did less mixing and matching… Which is the one thing we have loved doing at all their past events.
All in all, still a tasty night - capped off in time to see the Canucks win it in overtime!
